We are still on the topic of DISTRACTION, as one of the many doors you must close in order to fulfil your destiny. “The most dangerous distractions are the ones you love, but don’t love you back.” These include:

e. Substance abuse: Substance abuse, also known as drug abuse, is the use of a drug in amounts or by methods that are harmful to the individual or others. Substance abuse can cause distraction by affecting one’s ability to make healthy decisions and process emotions. This can lead to risky behaviours, such as fornication, adultery, and reckless driving under the influence. It also affects the brain development. Drugs can interfere with the development of the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for decision-making. Again, it can alter how alert or sleepy a person feels, and can intensify or dull their senses. The Internet is full of videos of people behaving like morons, sleeping inside the drainage, etc, all due to substance abuse. Substance abuse lead to a shift in priorities, where obtaining and using the substance becomes more important than school, work, or social activities. Substance abuse can also contribute to, or worsen existing mental health problems like anxiety and depression.

f. Bad Friends: If there is one prayer you must pray for yourself, your spouse, and your children, it is: O Lord, please deliver me from strange children (bad friends). What the devil may not achieve in your life, one bad friend may. Such a friend creeps in subtly and launches the devil’s intentions as a suggestion, and that settles it. Many became victims of various vices when one bad friend entered into their lives. Many wouldn’t have been a truant, drunkard smoker, fornicator, masturbator, or addicted to video games, if not for a bad friend they met. Indeed, a great percentage of all your character traits will be formed by your type of friend, your environment, and genetics.

Prophetic Decree: Every satanic distraction on your path to progress is removed in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus 

1. My Father, please forgive me in any way I might have used my body wrongfully, in Jesus name. 

2. Today, I rededicate my life unto you, Lord, in Jesus name. 

3. I break the power of the spirit in charge of drug abuse in my life, in Jesus name.

4. Any unfriendly friend in my life, be uprooted by fire, in Jesus name. 

5. Any demonic soul tie between me and any friend, catch fire, in Jesus name.
