Bible Reading: Isaiah 62:1-4

Memory Verse: For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, Until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, And her salvation like a torch that is burning. Isaiah 62:1 (NASB)

A new educational curriculum suddenly was developed in a West African country. Christian Religious Studies which was initially an independent subject was lumped up with Civic education while Islamic religion remained an independent subject to be taught. This is an insult to the Gospel and a subtle attempt to eradicate the Man of Calvary from the school system. The Fathers in faith under an umbrella body said an unanimous “No” to this creptic devise sponsored from the pit of hell and the curriculum was overturned backed to its initial format. What could have happened if they had kept quiet or had only prayed without crying out foul?

The Bible says, “Open your mouth wide and I will fill it”. A closed mouth is a closed destiny. Christians are not only to pray but they are also to watch. Habakkuk said, “I will stand upon my tables and watch what he will say unto me. Brother, if you keep quiet over your situation that means you have given your consent. Challenge that sickness in your body with the Blood of Jesus. Tell failure roaming about in your family that your case is different. Command every evil yoke to break by the power of the Holy Ghost.Hear the words of Prophet Isaiah, “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep quiet, until her righteousness goes forth like brightness, and her salvation like a torch that is burning” Isaiah 62:1.
