Bible Reading:    James 1:2-4

Memory Verse:  My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. James 1:2-3 (NKJV)

Gestation Period is the time taken to carry a pregnancy from the day of conception to delivery. In human beings, this is usually 9 months. The story is told of an elephant and a dog who got pregnant at the same time. 10 weeks into the pregnancy, the dog had given birth to about 10 puppies yet, there was no physical sign of pregnancy for the elephant. Two months later, the dog became pregnant again, and gave birth to 8 puppies ten weeks afterwards.

It is only natural for the elephant to feel intimidated and sad about her predicament unknowing to her that the time frame of her pregnancy differs from that of her female dog friend. The average gestation period for a dog is between 63- 65 days (10 weeks).Elephants have the longest gestation period of all mammals which is about 640 to 660 days (95 weeks). This is more than a year and half.

In the same vein, the passage from the time of the prophesy you’ve received and its manifestation in the physical differ from one person to another. You do not need to be jealous of the miracles of those around you. Yours is on the way. A baby elephant said to arrive late is bigger & heavier than 40 puppies put together. Your miracle will outshine those that have gone ahead of you. Keep the faith! It is worth waiting for!!

Quote: The trial of your faith produces patience.

Prophetic Word: Your expectation shall not be cut short, in the name of Jesus.
