Bible Reading:  Colossians 4:17, 2 Corinthians 10:12

Memory Verse: And say to Archippus, “See to it that you fulfill [carefully the duties of] the ministry which you have received in the Lord.” Colossians 4:17 (AMP)

Do you know that there are people God gave microphone as a weapon, and there are people He gave other tools such as movie scripts, professional careers, skills and  craft as a weapon? Do you know that many people have abandoned the weapons. God gave them and have been struggling to use the weapons God gave another? Before you desire to be another man of God in full-time ministry, are you sure God is not interested in you being a Christian professional in the market place of your career? Today the harvest is still plenty but the labourers are few because people are passionately doing things for God in their own ways.

Can I implore you, friend, to go inside and ask God to tell you the particular weapon He gave you to reach out to your generation? Unless you are called, don’t struggle to be another General Overseer when God is waiting for you in another assignment. There is an army that is rising today whose sole purpose is not to open more churches. The knowledge of the Lord is about to cover the earth as the waters cover the sea where a road side mechanic and a local shoe maker would be anointed to heal the sick? If you have appendix, your neighbour that is a civil servant will just hold your stomach and speak a word and that appendix will disappear forever.

Young doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers, bankers, etc., would be going to the streets and in the mission’s fields once in a week, manifesting the raw power of God and prove to the heathen that Jesus Christ is no more in the grave. But, can you find yourself in God’s end time plans? You can still be a technician and still be raising the dead everyday. What happened to those books you were writing when you weren’t born again? Now that you are born again, go back to writing ministry, God might be waiting to use your Christian write ups to stir revivals in the hearts of men and women. What happened to that business ideas you had when you first repented?

Go back to that idea. Thank God for what He is doing with our brothers who are into church ministry but we all will not all stand on pulpit with microphones. Go back in prayers and fasting to seek God for a specific weapon He wants you to use to spread His word in this generation. There is no unpopular assignment. If you make God popular in what you are doing, He will make you popular in what He is doing. Whatever it might be, mix it with chronic prayer and fasting life and you will see how God will use you to stir this generation back to the Cross.

Prophetic Decree: Receive the serenity to discover and embrace your calling, in Jesus name. 

Prayer Focus

1. O Lord, please help me not to miss my calling, in Jesus name.

2. Let the revelation of the calling of God for my life settle in my spirit, in Jesus name.

3. Altars of my father’s house fighting my calling, catch fire, in Jesus name.

4. Altars of my mother’s house fighting my calling, catch fire, in Jesus name.

5. O Lord, help me not to limit your reach and your use for my life, in Jesus name.
