Bible Reading: Acts 9:1-20

Memory Verse: Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. John 12:24

Strive Masiyiwa often drops off his wife in Church every Sunday, then zooms off to play his weekly squash game with “the boys” (ungodly friends). He disregarded the many pleas of his wife to join her in Church on several occasions though he permitted her to serve God. Then, he believed Church is meant for funeral and marriage ceremonies. On this “faithful” day, having lost a case at the Supreme Court, he came to Church.

He was convicted and he surrendered his life to Christ. He read through the Bible in three weeks, day and night. In this period, God began to speak to him through his dreams. He would have dreams of building broadcasting towers all over the world.

Today, Strive Masiyiwa is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Econet Wireless group and Kwesé TV.

He is an anointed business man in the class of R.G Letourneau and John D. Rockefeller. He believes in the African dream. He is a great source of inspiration to many young entrepreneurs all across Africa.

Lesson 1: Your original destiny may never manifest until you surrender your life to Christ. In God alone is life and the life is the light of men (John 1:4).

Lesson 2: Like Saul of Tarsus and Strive Masiyiwa, God may have to break you in order to mould you into destiny.

Lesson 3: Proximity to God in prayers and study of the Word gives access to hidden mysteries about your destiny (Jer. 33:3).

Lesson 4: God is not willing to give you what you will not use to His glory.

Lesson 5: Do not give up on any unsaved soul. Persevere prayerfully till such surrenders to God (Mat. 18:12-14).
