Bible Reading: Romans 12: 17-21

Memory Verse: Dear friends, don’t try to get even. Let God take revenge. In the Scriptures the Lord says, “I am the one to take revenge and pay them back.” Romans 12:19 (CEV)

By 2008, Tata motors had the best selling cars in the market. On the other hand, Ford company was struggling to make a profit from their sales. In the words of Chinua Achebe, “Time changes yesterday”.  Same year 2008, Ratan Tata decided to buy the Jaguar and Land Rover series cars from Ford – the two worst Ford’s selling cars by then. Ford was facing a huge loss with those two brands. This time, Bill Ford flew to Mumbia, India. He told Ratan Tata, “You are doing us a big favour by buying Jaguar”. Ratan Tata could have humiliated Bill Ford the same way the latter did back in 1999, but he came out of the experience a bigger and better person. Today, Jaguar and Land Rover are some of the most successful cars of Tata motors. Ratan Tata is not only a businessman but also a very humble and kind philanthropist. His company donates 66% of its profit to charity.

Lessons

1. God can change story. If you will stay on your job in all perseverance, your worst rival, critic or enemy will someday celebrate you.

2. You need the anointing to make a  positive difference. You need the anointing to make a positive change. The Midas touch. You should enter into a company, ministry, family, etc, and turn things around for the best; dying business jerks back to life, and destinies are preserved. This is a grace you must covet. The Bible says everything you lay your hands upon must prosper (Psalm 1:3).

3. Marcus Aurelius opined “The best revenge is to be unlike him who performed the injury”. If a bad experience continues to make you bitter and revengeful, you aren’t becoming a better Christian. “An eye for an eye will only make the whole world blind” says Mahatma Gandhi. Let it go. “The final proof of greatness lies in being able to endure criticism without resentment” says Elbert Hubbard.

4. When God blesses the works of your hands, do not forget God and make sure you give back to mankind.

Quote: The best form of revenge is massive success.

Prophetic Decree: You are bouncing back bigger and stronger, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Ancient of days, how great thou art.

2. Those who criticize and ridicule me yesterday are coming back to celebrate me, in Jesus name.

3. My hands, you are the symbol of my handwork, I command you to prosper, in Jesus name.

4. O Lord, give me a success that will rewrite my financial history, in Jesus name.

5. I rebuke every revengeful spirit, in Jesus mighty name.

6. By your grace O Lord, I choose to be a blessing even as you bless me, in Jesus name.
