THE DANGER OF PREMATURE EXPOSURE

THE DANGER OF PREMATURE EXPOSURE

Bible Reading: Luke 1:80, Romans 10:2

Memory VerseAnd the child continued to grow and to become strong in spirit, and he lived in the deserts until the day of his public appearance to Israel. John 1:80 (NASB)

While some people appeared late at the centre stage of their destiny, some others appeared rather too early. And just like a half done yam, either way, they are both not too good for consumption. Your destiny shall not be undone at its appearing, in Jesus name.

Consequences of premature exposure include:

1. You run with the gift but not with the giver: Don’t try to start a work, business, career or ministry without the presence of God going with you. Spiritual gift will always run dry without the giver the same way a river that is disconnected from the source goes dry. Don’t disconnect from God your power house. Like Jonah, if you launch out to a destination God has not sent you, you will pay for your transport fare in pain.

2. You open yourself up to myriads of spiritual attacks and losses in business: Those who didn’t graduate effectively perfecting all the courses in the curriculum of their study in life, business or ministry will surely suffer loss.

3. Due to your lack of effective processing in the school of the Almighty, the weight of glory could crumble you.

4. Such people run but get weary in the school of destiny (Jeremiah 12:5, Isaiah 40:31).

5. Premature exposure to glory in business, destiny, marriage or ministry, etc, usually leads to premature exit with fatal bruises and scandals.

6. Such a person eventually becomes a deterrent to others: Don’t start that ministry before God says so. Don’t do that business because it is popular. Don’t study that course because it is lucrative. Dear friend, what is God saying at this time? Be Spirit led.

7. It could lead to a slap on the gospel of Christ: Like David, when he slept with Uriah’s wife, he caused the heathen to blaspheme God.

8. A person who manifests before his time will likely expire before his time ever is over. It is not good to have zeal without knowledge (Romans 10:2).

9. Financial frustration: Many who started ministry or business because of zeal either leave frustrated or grovel in financial pressure.

Quote: Don’t run faster than God.

Prophetic Decree: May your eyes be ever glued to the vision of heaven for your life, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Jesus Christ, the writer of the book of my destiny, I reverence You.

2. Lord Jesus, please forgive me for trying to open the pages of the book of my destiny without You.

3. Spirit of patience and self-control, possess me, in Jesus name.

4. Today, I relinquish the steering wheel of the vehicle of my life to God, in Jesus name.

5. I receive grace to be properly made in the waiting room of God Almighty before manifesting to my generation, in Jesus name.BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Acts 13-14
