Bible Reading: 1 Peter 5:8

Having studied our weaknesses, strengths and family tree, the devil organises scenarios and situations to trap us. The devil could introduce a friend into your life in a strange land should he perceive you aren’t emotionally strong enough to say no to bad friendship. He could introduce depression into a life so that you slide into boredom, and consequently, pornography and masturbation, thinking that’s the way out.

The devil could make a superior in your place of work to provoke you to anger. Consequently, you will be given a query or sacked. He could constantly bombard your heart, reminding you of your past mistakes, thereby sending you on a journey of guilt in order to sap out every fibre of courage needed to fight forward in life.

There is a department of witchcraft responsible for keeping and storing up records of family weaknesses. You must recognise such weaknesses in your family line and deal with them ruthlessly daily by partnering with the Holy Spirit.

Furthermore, while you’re working on your weaknesses, please don’t forget to guard your strengths. It is possible to have too much of a good thing. It is possible to do too much of a good thing. This is one reason why you need to learn how to be led by the Holy Spirit.

For example, as wonderful as giving to the poor and needy is, it may become a bait for the evil one to latch on your resources and use it against you. Only those that are led by the Spirit of God are the sons of God. Please give only as led. Don’t give emotionally. There are wolves in sheep clothing. 

Do you know there are seemingly good opportunities that could become a bait of destruction to your promising destiny? A seemingly well paid job could become the reason why you lose your destiny, lose your home, or lose your peace. The devil has the advantage of time.

He’s been working with man for a long time. He will not come in a manner that will reveal his true identity and intentions so easily. He usually comes subtly like a thief in the night. Please stay on guard. No wonder the scriptures said that Satan also appears as an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14). Receive grace to live above all the wiles of the evil one, in Jesus name.

Prophetic Decree: Receive your deliverance from all the wiles of the enemy, in Jesus name. 

Prayer Focus 

1. Satanic manipulations around my life and destiny, catch fire, in Jesus name. 

2. I render null and void all satanic plans and purposes for my life, in Jesus name. 

3. I receive grace to be Spirit led, in Jesus name. 

4. O Lord, sharpen my spiritual sensitivity. Please help me to go where the Holy Spirit goes, and stay only where the Holy Spirit stays, in Jesus name. 

5. By the mercies of God, I shall not be a prey to the devil, in Jesus name.
