DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post July

Sunday, 31st July, 2016.

Scripture Reading:  Genesis 13: 14-15, Ephesians 1:18-19

Memory verse for the week:    John 14:26

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (KJV)

Dobido, a very intelligent JS2 student from a wealthy family of eight children resumes back from holiday not later than two weeks after his school’s official resumption date. He’s fond of saying that with his level of intelligence, he will outsmart any of his peers and eventually come out the best in his class. True to his words, he’s always at the top in his class.

Hellooo…, Dobido has got a problem with his inner vision. He’s not seeing outside the box! He has relegated himself to a local champion of his school. God told Abraham in the Bible, “as far as your eyes can see will I give you” (Gen.13:14). You must see yourself not only as the best in your locality but also beating the best in your state, and further proceeding to beating the best in your country and if possible, in the whole world.

Where are the teenagers who will win the National Cowbell Mathematics competition? Where are the students who will win Etisalat Literature Essay competition? Behold the world of possibility. Everything is possible with God. Luke 1:37. Would you mind to explore?

ACTION WORD:       BEAT THE BEST, AND BE THE BEST!!

PRAYER POINT:

1) Anointing of more than an overcomer, fall upon me in the name of Jesus.

2) Every arrow of bewitchment fired into my mind to limit my greatness, backfire in the name of Jesus.
