Bible Reading: Psalm 127:1, Psalm 14:1

Memory VerseUnless the LORD builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. Psalm 127:1 (NKJV)

While planning is good and must be embraced maximally, please don’t forget the God factor. Planning minus God equals disaster. Believe me, even experts will tell you to take care of contingencies – to factor in some uncertainties – which, sometimes, only God can solve.

Mr Kunle Adeyanju, the man who rode on a power bike from London, in the UK to Lagos, Nigeria, in Africa for polio vaccine awareness campaign said, “I felt Europe was going to be easier and Africa would be challenging, but I realised that every part of the journey had its own challenges. In Europe, he had to cope with sub-zero temperatures, which were terribly freezing and cold.

There was a strong crosswind on the Spanish coastline, which could blow you off the bike and he also had to contend with what he called ‘the black ice’, which becomes extremely slippery.” Concerning his adventure through some part of Africa, he said, “I had to contend with the heat of the Sahara; the wind and heat of the Sahara. It is one of the most inhospitable places on earth and it’s unfriendly to life; everything there wants to kill you. I realised the Sahara is unforgiving; you make a mistake and you don’t come home.

Also, the Sahara is 45 – 75 degrees hot sand and I had to lie there; I couldn’t get up because there’s a bigger danger. It was extremely tough, but then, I’ve done everything I could to keep myself safe. So, I was just there waiting and wondering if may be today is the last day. I remember saying to myself that, ‘God, I thank you for everything so far. If I come home today, don’t let me go to hell. Forgive me everything I’ve done wrong, accept me.’ Finally, after one hour forty minutes, the storm passed and I got up to dust off all the sand I have been covered in.”

Don’t leave God out of the equation of your life. There are many so-called Scientists, Professionals, Professors, Captains of Industry, Lecturers, etc, who arrogantly exclude God from the equation of their lives, and surely they always miss their way. Book knowledge without God-knowledge will scuttle your plans. Learn to bring all your well articulated plans back again to God in prayers. Are you born again?

Quote: If God is not at the centre of your plan, no matter how viable, it will fail.

Prophetic Decree: Any evil guardian angel attached to your destiny from your root, dies today, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Master of the Universe, I adore You.

2. The holy one who knows the end from the beginning, I submit to You.

3. Today, I submit all my plans in this new quarter to You. Kindly perfect it, O God, in Jesus name.

4. Altars of failure in my root, roast to ashes, in Jesus name.

5. Evil hands of the enemy in my visions and dreams, I cut you off, in Jesus name.
