Bible Reading: Matthew 28: 18-20

Memory verse: And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. Matthew 4:23(NKJV)

Some months ago at the church where I serve, we watched a very inspiring movie of a young boy of about 10 years, who follows his dad every Saturday to preach the Word of God.

But, on this particular day, it rained cat and dog. Nevertheless, he got set as usual and was ready to go. His dad, who happens to be a Pastor, saw no reason to go preach on such a day! “Dad, aren’t there souls perishing on a rainy day?”, he humbly asked. Reluctantly, his dad allowed him to go alone wearing a rain coat. He won an old woman who was about to commit suicide to Jesus on this day; giving her evangelical tracts. The old woman later came to the boy’s church where she shared her testimony. How deeply sorry was his dad!

And you?…when last did you communicate the love of Jesus to your friends in school and neighborhood. Are you just enjoying Jesus alone? Why are you so selfish with preaching the Gospel of Jesus? God will require from you the soul of that friend of yours on the judgement day  if he ever goes to hell because you never preached to him. See Romans 1:16, 10:14.

He that wins a soul is wise… Daniel 12:3.

Action word:  You are saved to save others.

Prayer points:

  1. Fire of evangelism, fall upon me, in the name of Jesus.
  2. I cast out every spirit of fear preventing me from evangelizing, in the name of Jesus.
