Great help doesn’t necessarily come from great people. Great help comes from divinely appointed helpers. It is a hard truth. Great help can come from anywhere even from unbelievers and atheist. This is a mystery of life. That is why they are called appointed helpers. They have been divinely appointed by God irrespective of their faith or personal weaknesses. This does not mean you should fraternize in deep intimacy with such people. Simply let them be used by God to do whatsoever He desires of them and that is it. Remember, do not be equally yoked with unbelievers (2 Cor. 6:14-18). God is a Master of strange help.
Strange help was seen when the 12 spies went to Jericho and an harlot called Rahab saved God’s people from destruction.
Strange help was seen when the same Prophet Nathan who rebuked David when he slept with Bathsheba and killed Uriah her husband was used again by God many years later to make Solomon Bathsheba’s son king over Israel.
Strange help was seen when Cyrus, a heathen king released the money the build the temple at Jerusalem.
Strange help was seen when king Artaxerxes, a heathen king released money to build the wall of Jerusalem.
Strange help was seen when a slave girl (not the Minister of Health) was used by God to cure Naaman, the Chief of Army Staff of the Syrian army of his leprosy.
Strange help was seen when Ahab and Jezebel were killing God’s prophets and the chief of staff of Ahab called Obadiah hid and fed 100 prophets for 3 years.
Strange help was seen when a gateman helped a student to submit a scholarship application whose deadline had long close.
Strange help was seen when the leader of a killers’ squad set one of his victims free because he gave him food while on campus.
Strange help was seen when Sir Alex Ekwueme who was the Nigeria’s Vice President helped Otunba Subomi Balogun secure a banking license because of the good the latter once rendered to the former during the Nigeria Civil war.
This is one of the mysteries of life. Friend, value all the relationships God will be bringing your way. Water can still come out in high places. Nobody – rich, poor, believer or unbeliever is useless. God can use anybody.

Prayer Focus
1. O Lord of mercy that is meek towards all, hallow be thy name.
2. I receive the meekness to accept people for who they are, in Jesus name.
3. I cancel all satanic assault against my divinely appointed helpers, in Jesus name
4. I receive the spirit of discernment to receive the ministry of strange divine helpers, in Jesus name.
5. I reject every arrow of memory loss fired against my divinely appointed helpers. They must remember me for good by fire, in Jesus name.
