Bible Reading: Genesis 48: 13-19

Memory Verse: Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 (CSB)

1. She listed all her husband was doing wrong and has concluded to divorce him. Her pastor by the Spirit of God asked her a question, “Is this your first marriage?” She replied, “No.” That was her third marriage. The evil powers fighting her magnifies the faults of her husband, and shuts her eyes to their strength. They simply don’t want her to stay married not to talk of having a happy home. Obviously, she’s being manipulated.

2. When you suddenly develop hatred for your spouse or destiny helper. Suddenly you become very intolerable. Their weaknesses and faults you used to condone has become very irritable, and blown beyond proportion. Obviously, you are being manipulated. Your angel of blessing may just be standing by, but the spirit of offence is equally lurking around. Be careful before you are being manipulated out of your portion in destiny.

3. When a child suddenly leaves home after a misunderstanding with his parents, and begins to hang out with bad friends. That’s strange, right? That wasn’t the first time there will be misunderstanding in the home and that won’t be the last time. Satan is lurking somewhere. He’s under a manipulative spirit from hell.

4. When the people who are meant to help you suddenly develop hatred for you or they see you in their dream chasing them with cutlass. The spirit of manipulation has just been deployed against your next level.

5. When your boss suddenly fires you without prior query, or he suddenly develops unexplainable anger or hatred for you. Your best efforts don’t please him anymore. Your colleagues must have done worse things than you did but he was emotionally buoyant enough to overlook their mistakes. He is being manipulated against you.

6. All forms of sexual perversion such as homosexuality, fornication, adultery, “naked party”, anal sex, oral sex, incest, etc, are sponsored by the spirit of immorality and manipulation.

7. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” Matthew 7:15 (ESV)

Way out:

1. Surrender your life totally to Jesus.

2. Receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

3. Work against all the manifestations of the work of the flesh in your life.

4. Bind and cast out the spirit of offence, hatred, fightings, bitterness, perversion, etc.

5. Walk in the Spirit: Fill your life with the Word of God, pray always, and take only Spirit-led actions.

Quote: Those who stay spirit-filled hardly fall into the trap of the devil.

Prophetic Decree: I curse every activity of the spirit of manipulation in your life, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Consuming Fire, I thank you, Lord.

2. Witchcraft sponsored hatred, I come against you by the power in the Blood of Jesus.

3. Spirit of offence between me and my next level, be cleared away, in Jesus name.

4. I come against evil powers working against my marital peace, in the name of Jesus.
