Bible Reading: 2 Cor. 4: 8-12
Memory Verse: And we know that all things work together for good to them that love, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28
Take a careful look at life, you will discover that:
- Sometimes, to succeed in life, you need some enemies to keep you on your toes.
- Sometimes you need people who will mock you, so that you can run to God who will make you.
- Sometimes you need people who will try to intimidate you, so that you can learn courage.
- Sometimes you need people who will say “No” so that you can learn how to be independent – how to do things yourself.
- Sometimes you need people who will disappoint you so that you can put all your trust in God alone.
- Sometimes, you need people who will conspire against you on your job, so that you can start your own business.
- Sometimes you need people who will sell your ‘Joseph’ so that ‘you’ can get to Egypt and consequently becoming a Prime Minister in a strange land of captivity.
- Sometimes you need a cruel landlord, so that you will not be too comfortable in your rented apartment proceeding into your own house.
- Sometimes, you need to go hungry today so that you will be merciful on the poor when your story change tomorrow.
10. Sometimes you need to fail to guard successive success jealously.
When we are disappointed, we feel very bad and we tend to remain on that spot. Not knowing that the end-point of disappointment is the beginning of your accomplishments.
