Bible Reading: Hebrews 11: 8-12
Memory Verse: All these people died in faith, without having received the things they were promised. However, they saw them and welcomed them from afar. And they acknowledged that they were strangers and exiles on the earth. Hebrews 11:13 (BSB)
I celebrate the grace of God upon Dr. Dele Osunmakinde. He wrote: Just as in research, where a flawed methodology can lead to incorrect conclusions, a wrong approach to life can distort our understanding of reality. Many become discouraged because they insist on being quantitative while God is operating qualitatively.
They demand measurable proof when what they need is meaningful interpretation. They embrace positivity — seeking only what is tangible – when God calls them to be interpretivist, discerning His hand beyond the visible.
Life is not always about counting blessings. Some of the most profound gifts cannot be numbered—peace that surpasses understanding, favour that opens unseen doors, grace that sustains in silence. When you rely solely on what can be measured, you risk overlooking the uncountable riches of Christ.
Consider Abraham. He had no empirical evidence, no visible fulfilment of God’s promise. There was nothing to count—no children, no land, no tangible proof of his destiny. Yet, God declared, “I am your shield and your exceeding great reward.” The blessing was not in what Abraham could quantify but in the divine presence that accompanied him.
So, when life presents no figures, no visible results, no measurable success—do not despair. Your ontology (your understanding of being) and epistemology (your way of knowing) must align with God’s reality. When you cannot count your blessings, give thanks. Give thanks for the immeasurable, the unsearchable, the unseen. The greatest rewards are not those you can list, but those you can live—wrapped in the depth of God’s purpose and the vastness of His grace.
Quote: Faith can ‘Have it’, and faith can also ‘Wait for it.’
Prophetic Decree: May your anchor of faith never go lose, in Jesus name.
