Bible reading: Numbers 23:19-20
Memory Verse: God has spoken once, Twice I have heard this: That power belongs to God. Psalm 62:11(NKJV)
Sometimes ago, a President who had ruled his nation for over two decades conceded defeat to the opposition but later back-tracked, saying the vote was flawed. Behold, the President ate his words.
This is unlike God. His words are infallible. When God passes judgment over a particular issue, it is forever ‘Yes and Amen’ (2 Corinthians 1:20). God never turns back on His Words. He never backtracks.
God’s Words are binding. He said in the Scriptures, “Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear” (Matthew 24:35 NLT)
Gods Word’s are covenant words. The Bible says, “He has magnified His words above all His names” (Psalm 138:2, KJV).
His words are powerful. The Bible says, “It is sharper than any two- edged sword…”(Heb 4 :12)
God’s Words are comforting and reassuring. The Bible says in Numbers 23:19 NIV, “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”
The Bible says in Isaiah 45:11 “…ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.” That means you can challenge Him to hastily perform that which He has said concerning you. Our God loves his children who know their Covenant rights and enforce them.
Again, It is very interesting to know that God’s words will not return to Him empty handed. He said in Isaiah 55:11(NASB), “So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.” By this you can be fully assured that all the prophesies and promises you have received from God shall definitely come to pass, in Jesus name.
Quote: Hold on to the Word, hold on to God.
Prophetic Word: Your life will not lack a Word from heaven, in Jesus name.
