Bible Reading: Proverbs 30: 29-30

Memory Verse: The lion, which is mightiest among beasts and does not turn back before any. Proverbs 30: 30 (ESV)

In the jungle, the Elephant is the biggest; the Giraffe is the tallest; the Fox is the wisest; the Cheetah is the fastest; yet, the lion is the king of the jungle even without any of these qualities. Why? The lion has kingship abilities. It is courageous, bold, walks with confidence, dares anything and is never afraid. The lion believes it is unstoppable. The lion is a risk taker. The lion believes any animal is can become its food. The lion believes any opportunity is worth giving a trial and never let such slip off its hands. Do you know you also carry the gene of the lion of Judah? A lion never turns back from any challenge. So, you don’t need to be the fastest. You don’t need to be the wisest. You don’t need to be the smartest.

You don’t need to be the most brilliant. All you need is courage. All you need is the willingness to try. All you need is the faith to believe all things are possible. All you need to do is to believe in yourself that you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you (Phil. 4:13). The lion sleeps for 20 hours and works for 4 hours and yet, eats meat. But the elephant works for almost 24 hours and still eats grass. Your life’s strategy matters most in your approach to circumstances and situations for you to be a champion and winner always. Christians are supposed to have lion-like characteristics such as boldness, strength, diligence, leadership, and determination. Stay in the lion’s mood. That’s the mood for winners. Stay safe and believe in yourself and in your God. He will see you through. He has done it before, He will do it again. He’s alive.

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (2)

One of the greatest dangers in the life of a believer is not the sins everyone can see, but the ones that hide quietly in the heart. These sins rarely attract attention, yet they slowly drain spiritual strength and weaken a man’s destiny. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles”...

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (1)

The Quiet Destroyers are otherwise known as Secret Sins That Ruin Destiny. Many destinies have not been destroyed by loud sins, but by quiet ones. The sins nobody sees. The ones people excuse. The ones hidden behind reputation, ministry, intelligence, or success. Yet heaven sees them clearly. The Bible says, “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23). Secret sins do not remain secret forever. They slowly weaken the soul until a man who once carried promise begins to lose weight in the spirit...

THE DANGER OF SECRET SIN

Bro. Gbile Akanni once shared a sobering story that has stayed in my heart for many years. He spoke about an elderly evangelist whom God used mightily in the past. In those days there was no television, only radio. When this man of God preached, people would gather around their radios. Sometimes he would say, “Place your hand on the radio.”...
