Bible Reading: 2 Kings 4:8-37

Memory Verse: But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions. Obadiah 1:17

Today, we shall peruse further into salient lessons from the life of the Shunammite woman.

1. Never turn your back on your Man of God: Never despise the anointing that produce your celebrated testimony. You may need the same anointing someday. Don’t be like the 9 lepers who received their miracle but never returned to establish a relationship with the Giver of miracles (Luke 17:11-19).
2. When the maturity date of your labour of love is fully come, even your unbelief cannot stop it: She doubted the declaration of the man of God, yet her destiny child manifested because her time of favour has come (2 Kings 4:16-17). Also read Psalm 102:13.
3. God manifests His power when all hope is lost: Nothing is tagged impossible in the presence of the God of all impossibilities. God delights in manifesting His power when all other option have failed.
4. She was a woman of great faith who confessed positively at all times: While holding her dead child, she confessed, “It is well” (vs 23).
5. Hospitality is a gateway to unprecedented breakthrough.

Prayer Focus

1. I repent of any unbelief in my heart, in Jesus name.

2. I break every dark covenant with snail and tortoise spirit in Jesus name.

3. My God shall answer my prayers speedily today in Jesus name.

4. Activities of blocker spirit, die in the name of Jesus.

5. My time of favour, appear by fire in the name of Jesus.
