Bible Reading: John 19: 1-16

Memory Verse: When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha. John 19:13

According to the gospel book of John, Pilate sat down in the judgement seat called Pavement, interpreted as Gabbatha in Greek and eventually conceded to the pressure mounted against his will to crucify Jesus.

The spirit of Gabbatha is the spirit that causes a man to do contrary to his own will. It is the spirit that forces a destiny helper to be coerced away from rendering a needed help. It is the spirit that paints white black and black white. It is a spirit that sends one into captivity, slavery; pain and oppression by one’s enemies while his redeemer watch helplessly.

A man under this strange spirit experiences failure at the edge of breakthrough. Many shortlisted to be student leaders, executives, head teachers were eventually dropped at the brink of their emergence because of the activity of this spirit via men who rose up against their head from being lifted up. I’m praying, every spirit of Gabbatha working against your destiny shall die to rise no more, in the name of Jesus.

Environmental evil powers fall into this category. There are foul spirits such as the spirit of Gabbatha responsible for unexplainable failures many experience.

Quote:  Every man is spiritual controlled- either for good or evil.

Prophetic Word: May every Gabbatha spirit in your neighbourhood catch fire in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Every activity of the spirit of Gabbatha working in my life, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.
2. I cut off from the yoke of the spirit of Gabbatha working in my life, academics, family, in the name of Jesus.
3. My foundation cooperating with the spirit of Gabbatha, receive deliverance, in the name of Jesus.
4. Lord Jesus, walk back into my past and destroy every spirit of Gabbatha programmed against my future, in Jesus name.
5. Blood of Jesus, silence the voice of the spirit of Gabbatha working against my deliverance, in Jesus name.
