Bible reading: 2 Corinthians 4:8-9, 18; Psalm 144:1

Memory Verse: Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me. Micah 7:8(NASB).

If you must amount to anything in this life, you must learn to be a fighter. By a fighter, I do not mean going about throwing physical punches with your wrist. I mean you must have a fighting spirit, a courageous heart, & a winning heart. You must be daring and be willing to persevere long to get what you want out of life according to the blue print of your destiny.

Psalm 18:34 (NKJV) says, “He teaches my hands to make war, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze.” From this Scripture, we know that God is a warfare Master. The Bible further says that God is mighty in battle (Psalm 24:8). When God arise, all His enemies scatter (Psalm 68:1).

People who give up so soon cannot eat the good of the land. They can only hear about it but will never taste it. You must be valiant. The same Jesus who is the Lamb of God also manifests as a Lion. Isn’t He the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Prov.30:30). While your portion is undeniable in God, it is only obtainable by violence. Beloved, your Canaan land flowing with milk and honey won’t ever be yours without a fight from the enemy. A great destiny attracts great demonic opposition. The devil will always come like a flood; provoke the Spirit of God to rise against him.

Have you failed an exam; guard your loins. First, try to know what is responsible for the failure. Then, you re-strategize. You may need to run yourself through a spiritual cleansing programme, then you plan and work hard for a comeback. The righteous falls atimes, what makes the difference is that He doesn’t remain down organizing a pity party (Prov.24:17)

I see you rise again. There is a comeback for your entire setback. Your past woes can serve as a springboard for future success. Don’t give up on God and don’t give up on yourself. It will surely end in praise!
