DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post March

Wednesday, 8thMarch, 2017.

Bible reading: Heb.12:1-2.

Memory Verse: “Do you not know that in a race all the runners compete, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it”1 Corinthians 9:24(RSV).

1) Incomplete or Lack of Training.

Talent is not enough to drive your divine destiny, you need to stay under a God-given coach who will train and equip you under God. However, if you refuse training, you will amount to a half – baked cake. Training fine-tunes your gifting, sharpens it and brings out the best in you.

2) Wrong Friends.

Wrong people are those that God has not ordained to journey with you in life. They are not necessarily unbelievers or wicked friends; it is just that God has not chosen them to go with you in life. Take note of this, on your road to destiny, your worst enemy are your wrong friends and not necessarily Satan. What Satan cannot accomplish in your life, he will use wrong friends to accomplish it. You must understand that not all friends will pass into the next phase of God with you. Some friends are only relevant in your past and not in your present and your future. Appreciate them for what they have done and move on. However, there are friends who are relevant in your yesterday, today and future. Identify these people without being emotional about it.

Quote: In life, there are people you must meet and there are those you must miss.

Prophetic Word: With the sword of fire, I cut you off from every unfriendly friend.

Prayer Point: Lord, I pray that You will help me give in to trainings and friendship that will only move my life forward in Jesus’ name. Amen.
