THINGS THAT WILL HINDER YOU FROM FULFILLING YOUR DESTINY (2)

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post March

Thursday, 9thMarch, 2017.

Bible reading: Num. 12:1-16, Jos. 7:1-26

Memory Verse: “You have been a lover of righteousness and a hater of evil; and so God, your God, has put the oil of joy on your head more than on the heads of those who are with you “Hebrew 1:9(BBE).

3) Sin: God loves all of His children but He has a deep hatred for any sin in their lives. You must run away from sin. Sin will charge you more than you can pay, it will hold you bound in a place longer than you want to stay. The sin of Achan brought defeat to the entire camp of Israel (Jos. 7:1-26). Develop a deep love for righteousness and you will enjoy the contributions of God in your life.

4) Wrong Relationships: You may not determine the kind of people you associate with. However, you have control over your relationships. Whatever is flowing in the life of your partner will find its way into your own life ultimately. Don’t mistake an open trap for an open door (Jos. 9).

5) Offences and Unforgiveness: Men may do all kinds of horrible things to you on the road to destiny but be careful of what you do back to them. Offence, bitterness, and resentment is strong and it has the capacity to stop a man permanently. Get rid of it from your heart.

6)Regret: In the journey of life, there is no time to mourn over your mistakes. You’ll definitely make mistakes but you must not dwell on them. Learn the needed lessons and move on. God is bigger than your mistakes. You must accept the forgiveness of God and also, learn to forgive yourself.

Quote: The fight of destiny is a big shot.

Prophetic Word: I disconnect you from every evil flow that has held your destiny in captivity.

Prayer Point:

  1. Father, help me to love righteousness and hate iniquity in Jesus’ name.
  2. I break away from every physical and spiritual entanglement on my way to destiny fulfilment, in Jesus name.
