One of our armours as Christians is the Sword of the Spirit, which is also called the Word of God, Scriptures, Goodnews, or the Bible (Eph. 6: 11,17). The Word of God is what a bullet is to a gun. However, you must learn to pull the trigger of the gun. How do you pull the trigger of a spiritual gun? Simply by confessing the Word of God borne out of revelational understanding. Are you in need of healing, deliverance, fruit of the womb, academic success, liberation, business breakthrough, intimacy with the Holy Spirit, etc? Simply search for as many scriptures as possible in the area of your need, meditate (ponder) on it deeply until you catch a revelation, write it down, paste it on your walls and confess it continuously.
Surely, that situation must give way to your desired miracle. This is how it works! Bible memorization becomes relatively easier when you do this. Has Satan been bombarding your mind with unholy thoughts? Cast them out with Bible words. Say: I reject the thought of hopelessness, suicide, unforgiveness, bitterness, pornography, or masturbation, etc, troubling my soul, in the name of Jesus. I laminate my mind in the pool of the Blood of Jesus. For it is written in 2 Corinthians 10:4-6, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) vs 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; vs 6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” Surely, the evil spirit in charge of those thoughts must flee. DON’T KEEP QUIET. DON’T MUTTER IT. CONFESS IT LOUD.
You don’t successfully exchange evil thoughts with mere positive confessions. Substitute those evil thoughts with what is written in the Bible. The only thing the devil and his demons respect is the Word of God and not your Queen’s English, or motivational words. Your thought life must be sane before you can enjoy a sound mind (2 Tim.1:7). We are in a battle of words with the devil. Eve fell flat to the devil when he suggested into her mind via her thoughts and she couldn’t stand firm on the Word she already received from God.
Jesus conquered the devil only by the written word of God during his temptation (Mat. 4). Many wouldn’t have committed suicide, fornication, pornography, etc, had they won the battle in their soul. Thoughts are the basic unit of a man’s actions. As such, your daily Bible reading, Bible study, and Bible memorization must not be taken for granted. Speak the Word of God over that situation and your thought life, and gain dominion over life (Gen.1: 28).

Prayer Focus
1. Thank you Father because your words are yea and amen
2. I laminate my mind in the pool of the Blood of Jesus.
3. I receive grace to speak a word in season, in Jesus name.
4. I receive an insatiable daily appetite for the Word of God.
5. Fire in the Word of God, appear in my situation.
6. Fire in the Word of God, roast all mind demons in my heart, in Jesus name.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Isaiah 54-58
