For many years, song writer and Pentecostal worship leader, Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu, popularly known as Sinach, has been moving from one level of glory as a Gospel artist. While coming back to Nigeria from one of her trips in the US, she was inspired while reading Genesis 12:1-5. God promised to make a greater way for her, and there, the popular song, “Way Maker” was birthed. Can you imagine? The song that changed the face of the world especially during the Coronavirus pandemic was birthed while airborne.

Wonderful Jesus! All over the world the Spirit of God is moving but how sensitive are you? This is worthy of note. As you continue in your daily intimacy with the Holy Ghost, sooner than later, some uncommon inspiration that will shake your world will begin to spring forth. Waymaker is a contemporary worship song exalting God for who He is. The song describes God as One who makes a way for us, works miracles, keeps His promises, and defeats darkness with His light.

Nigerian gospel singer Sinach wrote and originally recorded “Waymaker” in 2015. It has been translated into 50 different languages.  The song has since topped the US charts for both Christian air play and church worship during the first months of the pandemic. As churches joined protests in US, the song has also been sung by demonstrators marching for racial justice, calling out for God as a “way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, light in the darkness. Sinach also became the first African artist to rise to the top of the Billboard Christian Songwriters chart.

Challenge: What talent do you have? Would you mind using it consistently to the glory of God and for the benefit of mankind? All that is needed to call forth your glory is lying deep inside of you. Well it up! In the long run, your talents will reward you more than what your job will offer you.

Prophetic Decree: May that inspiration that will shake your world and call forth your glory drop in your heart in this season, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Way Maker, make a way for all the Saints in this trying times.

2. I receive grace to be hypersensitive to the minutest whisper/inspiration of the Holy Spirit, in Jesus name.

3. My dormant talents manifest by fire, in Jesus name.

4. I refuse to die small. My world shall celebrate me, in Jesus name.

5. O Lord, please lead me in the path you have ordained for my lifting, in Jesus name.

6. I receive grace to be completely yielded to the Lord.
