Bible reading: 1 John 1:4, Romans 12:1.

Memory Verse:  “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” Habakkuk 2:1

Please read our memory verse again very meditatively. Take note of the phrase “will watch to see what he will say unto me”. I have been reading this scripture for many years but I perceive a fresh wave of revelation at this time. You see, Scripture language is quite different from English language. This is one reason you must not approach the Bible with head knowledge. The Bible is not a book of entertainment but of revelation and communication of God’s principles unto Mankind. Other books informs, only the Bible transforms!

The English Man says “will watch to hear” but the Bible is saying “will watch to see what”. Ideally, “saying” is connected to “hearing” but from the Bible “saying” is connected to “seeing”. God’s Words to us hasn’t fulfilled its mission if it ends with you just hearing but not seeing.

Also in 1 John 1:4(KJV), the Bible says, “That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes…” From this scripture, it is obvious that the next thing after hearing from God is to see as God sees.

God’s Words are energized to form mobile pictures in the eyes of our mind. Little wonder God was very descriptive in His promises to Abraham saying “He will bless him as the stars of the sky and sand of the earth.” He was working on his mind. God wanted Abraham to see the picture of his destined future that he may feature in it. No one ever feature in a future he cannot see.

What are you seeing from the Scriptures? Are you just hearing or seeing a picture of God’s eternal plan for your life. If the Word has not entered into your heart, it cannot enter into your hands. You can only pursue what you see. The vision must be written on the tables of your heart before you can run with it.

You have heard about God being able to prosper, but are you seeing prosperity in your present situation of poverty? You have heard about God being love, but are you seeing love against bitterness and envy around you? You have heard about God being able to restore but, are you seeing a comeback against your numerous setbacks? Are you seeing academic excellence despite numerous carry over courses? Have you just failed an exam? You must see success instead of failure if you must share your testimony.

Quote: Hear it, see it, pursue it, and handle it.

Prophetic Word: I command the angels of the Lord to remove every spiritual veil on your mind, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Every evil spiritual blanket covering the eyes of my mind, catch fire, in the name of Jesus.

2. Mind demons, roast to ashes, in Jesus name.

3. I command the daily renewal of my mind, in Jesus name.

4. I command my spiritual understanding to be opened, in Jesus name.
