Bible reading: Matthew 28:18-20

Memory Verse: Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29 (NKJV)

God wants the following:

  1. Your heart (Eze. 36:26): It is only a correct heart with a born again spirit that can offer acceptable sacrifice unto God.
  2. God wants you to put Him first (Mat.6:33). For example:
  3. On Sunday, the first day of the week, come worship Him in His holy sanctuary.
  4. First thing when you wake up, say a loving word to Him before talking to anyone  – O Lord, I just want to say I love you.
  5. Pull out your tithe first before spending any money that comes to you.
  6. Before taking any action, first, ask yourself: What is God saying? What is God feeling? Will He be happy with this decision?

3. Worship (Psalm 29:2): Celebrate Him all the time. Learn to bow and adore Him, adore Him for His magnificent works, meditate upon His Word and His names – the uncreated Creator, El Shaddai meaning “the many breasted one”, etc

4. Faith (Heb 11:6): Faith is believe, expression and honour to God’s Word. Tithing is trusting. Obedience is a key proof of how much faith you have in God.

5. Souls (Mark 16:15): If you are not winning souls, you risk been cut down. In Luke 13:6-7, after 3 yrs of unfruitfulness, Jesus commanded a tree to be cut down.

6. Sacrifice (Exo.20:24): This means to willingly surrender as an act of devotion to God. It means laying down an acceptable offering at an inopportune (inconvenient) time, and at an appointed altar, to get the attention of God.

Quote: Ask Solomon! Give God what He needs; He gives you both your needs & wants.

Prophetic Word: I activate your spiritual intelligence, in the name of Jesus.

Prayer Focus:

  1. My father, help me to please you, in the name of Jesus.
  2. Anything in my life, antagonizing the Lordship of Jesus in my heart, catch fire, in Jesus name.
  3. I receive grace to put God first every day & at every time, in Jesus name.
  4. As the Dare pants after the water brooks, O my soul, pant after the Lord, in Jesus name.
