WHAT IS YOUR VISION FOR YEAR 2020?

WHAT IS YOUR VISION FOR YEAR 2020?

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post January

JAN 3, 2020

Bible Reading: Habakkuk 2:1-3

Memory Verse: Then the LORD told me: “I will give you my message in the form of a vision. Write it clearly enough to be read at a glance. Habakkuk 2:2 (CEV)

Les Brown said, “If you have no vision of yourself in the future, then you have nothing to live for”. I believe you must have prayerfully caught a vision for this year. If not, it is not too late. You must learn to enter into your future prepared. Helen Keller, the first ever blind graduate opined, “The only thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision”. What is vision? Vision is that pictorial mental picture of your preferred future. Vision is key to progress. God’s people have perished through the ages for lack of vision. Anywhere is nowhere. “The first step to making changes in your life is to have a clear vision of what you hope to accomplish in the future” – Barbara Gain.

You must give your life a direction. You can’t just afford to travel through life blindly. Where are you going in year 2020? What direction? What do you want to achieve? That’s vision! Write it down and paste it on the wall in your room and any other safe place; keep it simple, and run with it. (Habakkuk 2:1-2). Have a vision for your spiritual growth, career, academics, marriage, ministry, etc. Get inspired:

1. When you visualize, then you materialize – Denis Waitley.

2. It doesn’t matter how fast you can go, it doesn’t matter how much passion you have, and it doesn’t matter how much energy you put into something. If you don’t have a vision and clarity on the destination you want to reach, you’ll simply never get there – Dean Graziosi.

3. I think there is something, more important than believing: Action! The world is full of dreamers, there aren’t enough who will move ahead and begin to take concrete steps to actualize their vision – W. Clement Stone

4. The qualities of a great man are “vision, integrity, courage, understanding, the power of articulation, and profundity of character” – Dwight Eisenhower

5. Don’t focus on where you are today, keep positive vision and see yourself accomplishing your goals and fulfilling your destiny – Joel Osteen

Quote: “Vision without action is a dream. Action without vision is simply passing the time. Action with Vision is making a positive difference.” – Joel Barker.

Prophetic Decree: Spiritual cataract blocking your vision shall catch fire.

Prayer Focus

1. I rebuke vision killers of my father’s house, in Jesus name.

2. I come against vision killers of my mother’s house, in Jesus name.

3. Power of Herod fighting my destiny dreams, die a shameless death, in Jesus name.

4. The river of sweet – bitter experience my life has been known for, dry up, in Jesus name.

5. Vision expanders locate me in Year 2020, in Jesus name.

6. Favour of God, envelope my efforts in Year 2020, in Jesus name.
