Bible Reading: Isaiah 40: 27-31

Memory Verse: Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! Psalm 27:14 (NKJV)

He was an HND holder in Electrical Electronics but left all for his Music ministry to answer the imminent call of God for His life. He held on to the promise for so long in pain, shame, lack of food, embarrassment from landlord due to his inability to pay his rents, mockery from friends, etc. One day, a supposed music promoter came his way. Oh, she gave him all his heart ever dreamt of, and supposedly took his shame away but stole his glory in the process. Though he was overdue in the waiting room of God, he did not wait for the right person.

The pressure of his numerous wants and needs pushed him to the waiting hand of an agent of darkness. In another case, a dear fervent Christian sister was desperately in need of a job after having searched fruitlessly for 4 years. This brother with all his connections came her way. He requested for her hand in marriage. She initially refused. Her parents who were ravishing in poverty convinced her to marry him. Her faith became increasingly weaker by the day until she succumbed to their pressure. Though she was also long overdue in the waiting room of the Almighty, she did not wait till the end.

Her eternal destiny got damaged in her marriage to this brother. Friends, we all need to cry for the grace to endure till the end. Quarter to your breakthrough, trust the devil, he will put up a fierce destiny fight. Many times, the devil will push the wrong spouse, wrong destiny helper, family pressure, want pressure, needs pressure, or personality pressure, etc, your way. I pray for you as I pray for myself, we shall not fail or falter at the junction of eternal decision, in Jesus name. “But he that shall endure till the end, the same shall be saved” Matthew 24:13. Help us, O Lord.

4. Strongman of failure at the edge of my breakthrough, die, in Jesus name.

5. Mantle of divine sensitivity, possess my life, in Jesus name.
