WHO SHOULD BE YOUR PROPHET?

WHO SHOULD BE YOUR PROPHET?

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post March

Wednesday, 1st March, 2017.

Bible reading: 1 Sam. 3:1-10.

Memory Verse: “A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled” Proverbs 18:20(KJV).

  1. You: You are the number one prophet over your life. With your words, you shape your future. A prophet knows what God is saying per time. There is no other person that can best speak into your life like yourself. Open the Bible and decree and declare the promises of God as it concerns your healing, academic excellence, progress, deliverance, etc.
  • Your Parent/ Guardian: If your parents happen to be genuine Christians, many at times they are prophets over your life. Eli, the adopted parent of Samuel led him in the way of the Lord (1 Sam.3:9).
  • Your Pastor: Jere.3:15, (ESV) says, “And I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
  • Your Spiritual Father: Paul was a spiritual father to Timothy and impacted him with knowledge and spiritual gifts (1 Tim.4:14).

Quote: A Closed Mouth Is A Closed Destiny.

Prophetic Word: May you not despise your destiny prophets in Jesus name.
