Bible Reading: Philippians 4: 11-13
Memory Verse: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. Philippians 4:12 (NKJV)

Receive wisdom to navigate the present world economic crisis in Jesus name:

  1. On wisdom 001: Wisdom is just common-sense packaged well! And we all need some kind of wisdom to navigate each challenging season! Faith alone won’t do it; we will believe God and still plan strategically (James 2:17)! Only those who think pragmatic and are flexible escape the stress and over load of life!
  2. On wisdom 002: Don’t allow the harsh economy burn you up! Take it easy! No storm lasts forever! Fly economy for sometime and later return to first class! Slash that wedding cost. Yes, while we trust God for abundance, we must learn to manage the present wisely! No begging! No debts!
  3. On wisdom 003: An important fact of life is that the greatest power you always have is changing the angle of how you look at things.
  4. On wisdom 004: If your income is same, while costs are exploding, then unplugging excesses must become a priority! A few adjustments here & there may be necessary now; like moving your three kids from that expensive school to something you can manage. Avoid avoidable financial stress.
  5. On wisdom 005: Things turn out best for the people who make the best of the way things turn out – John Wooden.
  6. On quitting: Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don’t quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don’t quit until you reach it – Bear Bryant.
  7. On Victory: Victory doesn’t exist outside of trouble. Hence, face the challenge. You’ve got God’s backing.
  8. On laziness: Laziness does not mean doing nothing. It simply means you are not doing what you are meant to do when you are meant to do them. Idleness is laziness under a different name.
  9. On life and purpose: The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.
  10. On preparation: You cannot manufacture the weapon of war on the battle field. Be prepared.
  11. On managing relationships: The devil is doing everything to make sure he drains relationships that will bring grace and glory into your life. Don’t give in to offence.
  12. On material possessions: The best things in life aren’t things. Happiness isn’t determined by what you own; it lies in relationships, and the first relationship you need is with Jesus because every blessing in life flows from Him.
  13. On prosperity: When prosperity is connected to purpose, it is a very powerful tool in the hands of a believer.

Prophetic Decree: Receive grace to flourish despite all odds, in Jesus name.

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (2)

One of the greatest dangers in the life of a believer is not the sins everyone can see, but the ones that hide quietly in the heart. These sins rarely attract attention, yet they slowly drain spiritual strength and weaken a man’s destiny. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles”...

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (1)

The Quiet Destroyers are otherwise known as Secret Sins That Ruin Destiny. Many destinies have not been destroyed by loud sins, but by quiet ones. The sins nobody sees. The ones people excuse. The ones hidden behind reputation, ministry, intelligence, or success. Yet heaven sees them clearly. The Bible says, “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23). Secret sins do not remain secret forever. They slowly weaken the soul until a man who once carried promise begins to lose weight in the spirit...

THE DANGER OF SECRET SIN

Bro. Gbile Akanni once shared a sobering story that has stayed in my heart for many years. He spoke about an elderly evangelist whom God used mightily in the past. In those days there was no television, only radio. When this man of God preached, people would gather around their radios. Sometimes he would say, “Place your hand on the radio.”...
