Bible Reading: Proverbs 3: 5-8
Memory Verse: Invest in truth and wisdom, discipline and good sense, and don’t part with them. Proverbs 23:23 (CEV)
Be blessed:
1. On honour to Parents: If you’re angry at the people God used in giving you life, how then can the life you’ve been given be meaningful?
2. On knowing God: Once you become aware that the main business that you are here for is to know God, most of life’s problems fall into place of their own accord – J.I. Packer on Knowing God
3. On purpose and vision: Succeeding in what you’re not asked to do is failure in disguise. The difference between success and failure is clarity of vision. There’s nothing more unfulfilling than people loving you for what you are not. Discover your purpose and follow through. Do not do what is trending rather trend with what you do.
4. On the power of thoughts: When thoughts fill up your mind, words will flow out of your mouth, and behaviour will become natural – Bishop Abioye.
5. On process: Trying to fast forward divine timing makes you a thief. In the school of destiny, you must pass through every class. Fasting and prayer will not give you double promotion there. Oh, you had a revelation? That’s beautiful. You had a vision? Oh, that’s fine! However, encounters are no substitute for process. If the Promised Land is your destination, then the wilderness must be your path. God does not raise emergency superstars, therefore, you cannot snatch the future.
6. On ministry: The path of ministry is narrow. It is not for freelancers. You must journey deeper. At a time, Paul said he is an Apostle of the Almighty. Later, he said he is a servant of the Almighty, and much later, he said he is a prisoner of Christ. You must journey deeper in God with all brokenness.
7. On Evangelism: God has given believers the responsibility of spreading the Gospel to all the world, and we need to use all at our disposal to accomplish this task – Theodore Epp.
8. On being current: To be current is the currency of life – Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo.
9. On continuous progress: Don’t ever forget how it started. That’s how it will continue. Don’t change the winning formula.
10. On depression: Depression is beyond a feeling. It’s a spirit. There is so much to live for. The end of the year is not the end of the story. God has an agenda for your life, and no force of hell can ruin it. Rejoice!
Prophetic Decree: Receive a fresh baptism of the Spirit of wisdom, in Jesus name.
