Bible Reading: Proverbs 3: 13-18
Memory Verse: Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18 (KJV)
Be blessed:
1. On pornography: Pornography doesn’t just corrupt desires, it distorts love and intimacy. To fight porn addiction, you need self-control. Self-control is not willpower alone; it is spirit-empowered discipline.
2. On hearing the voice of God: Train your mind to hear what God whispers and not what the enemy may be shouting.
3. On maturity: Those who walk with God deeply will often be misunderstood. Maturity is reached when you no longer need to explain or defend yourself. God vindicates in His time.
4. On miracles: Miracles are interventions. They are not a replacement to principles.
5. On marriage: Marriage survive when boundaries are protected.
6. On child discipline: Your child cannot sit for 60 minutes mentoring class but they can play game for 5 hours straight, yet you excuse them?
7. On petty people: Ignore petty people. Not every comment deserves a reply. Not every fight is worth your time and effort. Protect your peace. Focus on your purpose. Keep your eye on the prize.
8. On sexual discipline: Even farmers don’t plant their seed on every soil. Sexual discipline should be on your New Year resolution.
9. On Isolation: Avoid isolation. Isolation is not solitude. Isolation breeds depression. Isolation is self-destruction. We don’t thrive in isolation but in community. Be part of a community.
10. On power: Power is non-negotiable. We cannot say that Jesus is the resurrection and the life, and that resurrection cannot fix the human body. If Jesus cannot afford to do ministry without power, we too cannot. If Jesus cannot afford to do ministry without miracles, don’t do it.
11. On child training: If EVERY TIME you have a problem you conclude that you’re under a spiritual attack, you will raise children with little or no critical thinking and problem solving skills. They will grow up to always blame others for situations in their lives, never accepting or learning from mistakes.
12. On prayer: Never take a step over anything you have not prayed about, no matter how sure you are. One decision that is filtered through the place of prayer can save you a lifetime of misery and pain – Apostle Joshua Selman.
Prophetic Decree: Let the power of God from heaven come down afresh into your life, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. Holy Ghost, kill every appetite of sexual immorality in me, in Jesus name.
2. I receive the miracle of an open ear, in Jesus name.
3. Holy Ghost, teach my children the way of life, in Jesus name.
4. My Father, deliver me from isolation, in Jesus name.
5. I receive an insatiable appetite for prayer and Bible meditation, in Jesus name.
