Bible Reading: Proverbs 18:15

Memory Verse:  For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6 (NKJV)

Be wise:

1. On divine assignment: Leadership and followership has no relevance at the gate of heaven, it is faithfulness to what is committed into your hand that will count at the end. If leadership is committed into your hand, be faithful with it; and if followership is committed into your hand, be faithful with it. You will be eternally rewarded on your faithfulness to what is committed into your hand – Daddy Mike Bamiloye.

2. On words: Our mouths set us back when we speak from our negative emotions and feelings. Our mouths propel us forward when we speak God’s promises in faithful expectation.

3. On past experience: The power to bring anyone out from a pit is vested upon the one who has survived a similar pit.

4. On burden: When there is a burden, sacrifice is easy.

5. On spiritual hunger: You need to be dissatisfied with your current satisfaction. There’s more than where you are!

6. On anger: Watch against anger; neither speak of it nor act in it; for, like drunkenness, it makes a man a beast, and throws people into desperate inconvenience – William Penn

7. On conflict in relationship (1): Conflict is the tax you pay for intimacy. Ignoring it won’t build connection, and complaining about it won’t resolve it. Growth comes when you learn to resolve differences in wisdom.

8. On conflict in relationship (2): Conflict is the tax you pay for intimacy. And except you are willing to face your conflict, you won’t deepen your intimacy – Godman Afolabi

9. On self-control: Self-control proves that you have the Holy Ghost. It protects you to know that it is part of the privileges for people to misbehave. They can be rude to you. But, one thing you must control is your response. Protect it. It is your possession. And, don’t let anyone steal it away from you – Pastor Emmanuel Irene.

10. On impact: Once you’re a source, you become a voice. Make an impact, and you will earn other people’s respect.

11. On the devil: The devil could put you on a 20-year plan just to get you in one day! The devil could be so patient. What a virtue! That is why he is called the old wise serpent. Be warned!

12. On love: Man must evolve from all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is love – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Prophetic Decree:  Your life will not lack a refreshing Word at the crossroad of life, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I programme words of direction at every crossroad of my life, in Jesus name.

2. Holy Spirit, You are the Spirit of wisdom, possess me, in Jesus name.

3. I receive wisdom to manage conflicts, in Jesus name.

4. I receive the needed tenacity to pursue my own course, in Jesus name.

5. My Father, give me wisdom for divine speed, in Jesus name (1 kings 18:46).

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (2)

One of the greatest dangers in the life of a believer is not the sins everyone can see, but the ones that hide quietly in the heart. These sins rarely attract attention, yet they slowly drain spiritual strength and weaken a man’s destiny. Hebrews 12:1 says, “Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles”...

THE QUIET DESTROYERS (1)

The Quiet Destroyers are otherwise known as Secret Sins That Ruin Destiny. Many destinies have not been destroyed by loud sins, but by quiet ones. The sins nobody sees. The ones people excuse. The ones hidden behind reputation, ministry, intelligence, or success. Yet heaven sees them clearly. The Bible says, “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Numbers 32:23). Secret sins do not remain secret forever. They slowly weaken the soul until a man who once carried promise begins to lose weight in the spirit...

THE DANGER OF SECRET SIN

Bro. Gbile Akanni once shared a sobering story that has stayed in my heart for many years. He spoke about an elderly evangelist whom God used mightily in the past. In those days there was no television, only radio. When this man of God preached, people would gather around their radios. Sometimes he would say, “Place your hand on the radio.”...
