WISE LESSONS FROM THE SCHOOL OF LIFE (1)

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post February

Monday, 20th February, 2017.

Bible reading: Prov. 4: 6-7.

Memory Verse: “Wisdom is with aged men, And with length of days, understanding. With Him are wisdom and strength, He has counsel and understanding “Job 12:12-13.

  1. I’ve learnt…That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of Jesus and secondly, at the feet of the elders.
  2. I’ve learnt… That a heart filled with love will always find expression.
  3. I’ve learnt…That a little act of kindness makes the heart merry.
  4. I’ve learnt… That being kind is more important than being right.
  5. I’ve learnt… That you should never say no to a gift from a child.
  6. I’ve learnt… That I can always pray for someone when I don’t have the strength to help him in some other way.
  7. I’ve learnt… That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.
  8. I’ve learnt… That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
  9. I’ve learnt… That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
  10. I’ve learnt… That we should be glad God doesn’t give us everything we ask for.
  11. I’ve learnt… That money can’t buy salvation.

Quote: You keep learning in life but it is better to learn wisdom from another man’s mistake and not your own mistake.

Prophetic Word: You will not be a victim of your own misfortune, in Jesus name.

Prayer Point

  1. Holy Spirit, you’re the Spirit of wisdom, teach me wisdom daily as I journey in life. Help me to be a vessel unto honour at home, before my Parents, teachers, and in the neighbourhood, in Jesus name.
  2. I cast out every spirit of Laban from my heart, in Jesus name.
