DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post February

Tuesday, 21st February, 2017.

Bible reading: Job 12:12-13.

Memory Verse: “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, But fools despise wisdom and instruction “Proverbs 1:7(NKJV).

  1. I’ve learnt… That it’s those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular (Job 8:7).
  2. I’ve learnt… That under everyone’s hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
  3. I’ve learnt… That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
  4. I’ve learnt… That love, not time, heals all wounds (1 Cor. 13).
  5. I’ve learnt… That no one is perfect but loving them makes them better.
  6. I’ve learnt… That life is tough, but I can be tougher (Jos. 1:6-7).
  7. I’ve learnt… Opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
  8. I’ve learnt… When you harbour bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
  9. I’ve learnt… That one should keep his words soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
  10. I’ve learnt… That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.
  11. I’ve learnt…. That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
  12. I’ve learnt… That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing.

Quote: Words Of elders are words of wisdom.

Prophetic Word: With the broom of fire, I sweep out physical and spiritual foolishness away from your heart.

Prayer Points

  1. I receive the wisdom of God, in the name of Jesus.
  2. I reject physical & spiritual foolishness, in the name of Jesus.
