Happy New Year! Surely, this year shall be a year of great grace, in Jesus name. You need great grace for great accomplishments for the kingdom of God and in our daily living as a student, parent, business person, artisan, or as a professional.
Grace is not a substitute for hardwork or smart work, but the best of your strength may not be able to fulfil God’s ultimate plan for your life. God is the one working in you both to will and do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). The arm of flesh will always fail.
Grace is that Oil that makes the hustle and bustle of life seems effortless. Grace cushions the many frictions and bad patches of life. Grace is simply God in the race of life. Grace gives expression to the different shades of the manifestation of the person of Jesus in the affairs of life. The Bible talks about All Grace (2 Corinthians 9:8), Saving Grace (Ephesians 2:8-9), Sufficient Grace (2 Corinthians 12:9), Manifold grace (1 Peter 4:10), and Great Grace (Acts 4:33), just to mention but a few.
Grace found a bastardised and ostracised Jephthah and made him captain of his own people. Grace found Mary, and made her the carrier of the Saviour of mankind amongst several virgins. Grace found Rahab, a renowned prostitute and made her part of the genealogy of Jesus. Grace found Saul, who was from the smallest tribe of Israel, and from the least important family of Benjamin, and made him the first king of Israel. Grace found Gideon, and turned a coward to a valiant warrior and deliverer. Grace found Samson, and despite his many weaknesses, worked great deliverance through him even at the point of death. Brethren, all you need is Grace. May you enjoy Great Grace this Year 2025 in Jesus name.
