Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 28:13, Romans 12:11

Memory Verse The LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you will only move upward and never downward.  Deuteronomy 28:13a (BSB)

A young African-American boy, Mario Hoove broke the 46-year-old record of Providence-St. Mel School, Chicago, United States after scoring a perfect 100% grade in the country’s ACT examination.

The ACT examination in the United States is used to measure a high school student’s readiness for university, and provide universities with one common data point that can be used to compare all applicants.

In the 46 years of history of Providence St. Mel School in Chicago, United States, the school has never produced a student that achieved 100% score until Mario Hoover broke the record, making him the first ever to achieve such a feat.

Hoover who aced all the examination’s 36 points said: “I want others to know that they can do the same. I’ve been saying a lot today that we are all capable of more than we think we can do,” Hoover said.

The Principal of the school, Timothy Ervin, described Hoover as the future of black history. “He is the future of Black history, in the sense that he has made history here in the present and that’s going to live on forever,” Ervin said.

Dear student, know for sure that you are capable of more than you are presently doing in your academics. 85% is A. 100% is A. What do you care for? Push yourself harder but carefully. Beat the best, Be the Best.

Quote: We are all capable of more than we think we can do – Hoover.

Prophetic Decree:  Every academic spell upon my lineage is cancelled by the power in the Blood of Jesus.

1. Thank you Father because you are starting a new thing in my academics.

2. Brain blockers, die, in Jesus name.

3. Open my mind and my brain to depths of uncommon wisdom, understanding, and knowledge, in Jesus name.

4. Powers that stopped my parents from academic excellence, my academic is not your candidate, in Jesus name.

5. Foundational powers that peg academic exploits in my family, perish, in Jesus name.
