Bible Reading: Acts 3:1-11; 4:4: 5:12-16
Memory Verse: But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NKJV)
Many years ago, a Pastor friend said he advised his counselee who was having all manner of nightmares to put aside 3-7 days of his “busy schedules” in order to be alone with the Lord. In those days of solitary refinement, he should read the book of Acts of Apostles again and again, speak in tongues for hours, and pray strategic fire prayers.
Let me see that demon that will come near a hot coal of fire. The problem we are having these days is that we are “too busy”. Ironically, we are busy over what is not. You need the power of God and it comes with a price on a daily basis sponsored by God’s grace and personal deep discipline.
Talking about God’s power, a father in the Lord said, “Power in layman’s language is the ability to do work efficiently. The power you need to fulfil your destiny as ordained by God is in the Holy Ghost. In Luke 5:10, Jesus Christ informed Peter that he would begin to catch men and this came into full manifestation 3 years later when the Holy Spirit came on Him and he won 3,000 souls preaching just one sermon.
Now, the greater the power, the easier it will be for you to reach your goal. For example, if you want to travel from Lagos, Nigeria to Britain, by road/sea, it could take several days, if not weeks, but if you get in an aircraft from Lagos to London, you would have arrived within 6 and a half hours.
In Acts 3:1-11, the power of God began to manifest itself in a great manner in the life of Apostle Peter when he made the lame man at the Beautiful Gate to walk. The sermon he preached right after that led to the conversion of 5,000 souls (Acts 4:4). By Acts 5:12-16, his shadow had begun to heal the sick and multitudes began to come to Christ. His destiny was being fulfilled at an amazing pace”.
Quote: The rate of destiny fulfilment is directly proportional to the quantum of the power of God in your life.
Prophetic Decree: Any evil merchandise over your destiny backfire, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. O Lord, make me too hot for the enemy to handle, in Jesus name.
2. Any evil spiritual satellite set up against my destiny, catch fire, in Jesus.
3. Power for destiny acceleration, my destiny is available, in Jesus name.
4. By the power of God, I run through a troop and by the power of God, I leap over a wall, in Jesus name (Psalms 18:29).
5. I receive power to walk in great signs and wonders, in Jesus name.
6. Grace for daily spiritual discipline, my life is available, in Jesus name.
