Memory Verse: ‘He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.’ Isaiah 40:29 (NIV)
The story is told of how God’s servant, late Archbishop Benson Idahosa wrought many wonders in righteousness. While on a crusade, he received the news that his mother had died. Archishop Benson Idahosa rejected the evil verdict. He said, “My mother can’t die because God did not tell me. The last time I checked in my spirit my mother was well. If God must take her, He has to tell me. Put her on my bed when I return, I’ll wake her. Then they asked him, “When are you coming back”? He replied, “In 10 days’ time”. They told him, “She would have been smelling by then”. He insisted they should put her on his bed. “If she smells, it’s my room; put her there”. The first miracle was that for 10 days, her body did not smell. The colour of the skin changed from black to ash, totally dead for 10 days.
The Archbishop said he’s not coming back until he finishes his crusade. When he finished his crusade, he landed in Benin airport, and he ordered, “Take me home”. When he entered his room, he said, “Mama I am back, stand up and give me water to drink”. Mama said, “My son, welcome”. Today by the strength of this testimony, anything dead in your life is coming back to life in Jesus name. This is the true demonstration of the raw power of God, and it is available to all who are willing to press deeper into God. There are testimonies of literal fire consuming the evil trees that have housed the blessings of families, and at other times, a whole community. Ask those who saw the days of Apostle Babalola.
There are testimonies of a tornado wind blowing off the house of the evil chief priest who sends thunder to the marketplace to kill a goat every market day, and no one dares touch the goat until he arrives. Furthermore, there are testimonies of cancer disappearing as an anointed gospel minister sings or a prophetic word is given. There have been mighty deliverances of men and women under the yoke of the enemy cough out strange animals and materials such as padlocks. Friends, you don’t only need power for ministerial exploits, you also need the raw power of God for End time living. You need power to break the evil pattern that has held your entire family in bondage. You need power to make wealth. You need power to arise and shine. You need power to get back what belongs to you in the store house of your enemy. You need power to fulfil your destiny. You need power to subdue the numerous witchcraft activities in your home, office, and environment. You need the power of God every day of your life.
How do you plug into the power of God?
1. Desire/hunger for it.
2. Be addicted to the Word of God.
3. Live a very prayerful life.
4. Live a fasted life.
5. Seek impartation from the patriarchs/matriarchs of the Christian faith that worked in power.
6. Grow your faith.
7. Live a life of holiness.
8. Live a life of brokenness.
Quote: Only those who are thirsty gets filled.
Prophetic Decree: Receive an undying thirst for more of God in character and in power, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. The Rock that never fails, hallow be thy name in all the earth, in Jesus name.
2. My Father, break me that you might use me, in Jesus name.
3. Raw power of God needed for life and destiny, overshadow me, in Jesus name.
4. Power to overcome satanic onslaught in my dreamland, come upon me, in Jesus name.
5. I receive power to rewrite my family history, in Jesus name.
