With the bridle, you control the direction of a horse. With a steering, you control the direction of a car. It is amazing that a man’s appetite is one key way to control his life. An appetite is a desire to satisfy a need. An appetite is a strong desire or liking for something. An appetite could be good or evil depending on the way you manage it. The appetite for food (hot Porridge) left Esau a counterfeit of his Divine destiny when he sold his birth right to Jacob his brother (Gen. 25: 27-34). The appetite for women left Samson the great deliverer blind dying with his enemies (Judges 16: 23-31). The appetite for pleasure left Demas in a backsliding state. The appetite for drugs has destroyed many teenagers and youths. The appetite for friendship and companionship made Shechem defile Dinah the only daughter of Joseph. The appetite for comfort led to the death of  Elimelech and his two sons in the strange land of Moab. (Ruth 1). The appetite for relevance and acceptance left Cain a murderer when his sacrifice was not acceptable by God. The appetite for materialism left Gideon the mighty man a victim of the altar of his father’s house which he once destroyed.

Uncontrolled appetite has led to great disasters amongst mankind. A one time Prime Minister was disgracefully sent out of office when it was discovered that he had an extraneous relationship with another woman. The ministries of some great men have been reduced to ridicule when they were caught in homosexuality with their fellow men. May Jesus the yoke breaker uproot every demonic appetite in your life, in Jesus name.

Quote: Appetites could either make or mar you depending on the power you give it.

Prophetic decree: Let every appetite for sin be roasted to ashes in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus:

1. I bring my body under subjection this year in Jesus name.
2. By the authority of heaven, my destiny shall not crashland
3. In Year 2018, my appetite shall not ridicule my destiny in Jesus name.
4. I will not move from grace to grass in Jesus name.
5. Human and physical errors shall not embarrass my destiny, in Jesus name.
6. Holy Spirit come upon me, power of the Most High overshadow me in Jesus name.
