Bible reading: Genesis 39:1-6

Memory Verse: Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men. Proverbs 22:29 (NKJV)

Today let me tell you one important virtue that will give you your placement in destiny. This virtue reveals the “real you”. It is responsible for your outcome in life. It is called Attitude.

Kenneth and Kelvin were employed in an organization as sales persons. After two years, Kenneth was promoted to the position of a sales manager while Kelvin wasn’t promoted. Kelvin was infuriated. He bashed into the General Manager’s office to express his sore displeasure. The manager calmly said, “Would you want to know why Kenneth was promoted?” Kelvin nodded sarcastically.

The General Manager demanded that the two of them should go for a market survey of a particular product and submit a report 7am the following day. Before 7am the following day, both Kenneth and Kelvin submitted their report. Later during the day, the manager called aggrieved Kelvin to his office and gave him Kenneth’s report to evaluate for himself. Kelvin was ashamed of himself. The report was well detailed and well presented. Extra information needed to put the product in a competitive advantage over its competitors was included. Kenneth went the extra mile to do an excellent work.

There is something called demonic manipulations whether you believe it or not. Nevertheless, before you attribute your problems to such, take heed to yourself! You blame your teacher/ lecturer for marking you low in an English exam; don’t you think your handwriting is rather appalling? Work on it. What about your sentence construction, your lexis and structure, your collocations, etc. Little things matter. Anything worth doing worth doing well. It is the extra quality added to whatever you do that places you on a higher platform than your contemporaries.

Then, H+A+R+D+W+O+R+K  = 98%, K+N+O+W+L+E+D+G+E = 96%, L+O+V+E = 54%, L+U+C+K= 47%. None of them makes 100%. Then what makes 100%? Is it Money? No! M+O+N+E+Y = =72%.  A+T+T+I+T+U+D+E= 100%. Attitude alone sums up to be 100%.

Prophetic Word: May your life be free from every wrong attitude, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. I will not be an enemy to myself, in Jesus name.
2. Holy Spirit, purge me of every wrong attitude, in Jesus name.
3. In any way I have been a problem to myself, O Lord, have mercy upon me, in Jesus name.
4. Holy Spirit, pour your fresh oil of favour upon me, in Jesus name.
