YOUR DAY OF DIVINE VISITATION

YOUR DAY OF DIVINE VISITATION

DWOJ Daily Words of Jesus Devotional Post August

Thursday 21st August, 2025

Bible Reading: 2 Timothy 2: 3-5, Zechariah 2: 5-17, Luke 19:41-44

Memory VerseAnd the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did for Sarah as He had spoken. Genesis 21:1 (NKJV)

A group of friends gathered together to pray and fast for 21 days. They took off in this spiritual adventure. On a particular day, it rained cat and dog, but only one person showed up in the Church to round off the prayers at night. Close to midnight, Jesus walked in to announce and anoint that single individual for the great assignment He has for him.

It could have been anyone. The test of persistence chose the best candidate. That was a test of resolution. A test of resilience. A test of dedication. That one person was Prophet Hezekiah, the General Evangelist of CAC Worldwide. Like Zechariah, he was at his duty post on the day of a divine visitation for a divine encounter and blessing.

Friends, what has the Lord committed into your hands that seems like an herculean task? You had better don’t joke with destiny. God works with men by covenant. There are many working for God who are not ready to go the extra length with Him.

They easily feel discouraged when challenges come. Nothing of value is ever found on the surface. Anything of value is usually trapped or hidden in the secret. It takes diligence, persistence, sheer resolution, doggedness, determination, and fortitude to unlock greatness.

Will your day of visitation meet you prepared? Do you know that consistently observing your daily quiet time can open you up to the world of destiny changing encounter one day? Many are consistent with nothing especially when it comes to spiritual matters. Your loyalty to a spiritual command when it is convenient or not will determine if you will partake of the promises of the same Spirit.

As soldiers of the Lord, you don’t do as convenient but as commanded. Make up your mind to stretch a little further. Whether you are tired or not, your prayer time must meet you on your knees. That’s true devotion! As a soldier of the Cross of Calvary, don’t despise living a regimented life in order to trap the blessings that come from divine obedience.

QuoteTime when lost may never be recovered except by mercy. Maximise each day.

Prophetic Decree: You will not miss your day of divine visitation, in Jesus name.
