Bible Reading: Genesis 27: 1-40

Memory Verse: Prepare my favorite dish, and bring it here for me to eat. Then I will pronounce the blessing that belongs to you, my firstborn son, before I die.” Genesis 27:4 (NLT)

There are two major people that hold the key to your prosperity by the authority of the scriptures – your biological father and your spiritual father. If these two people can be happy with you, if you will dare to always make them glad and their soul delight in you even as they pray for you, the ark of prosperity must surely rest in your tabernacle after the order of Obed-Edom.

A careful study of the turnaround of the fortune of Obed-Edom will reveal to you that there is more to prosperity than hard work, even though there is a place for hard work anyway. Before the death of Isaac, he told Esau his son to prepare him a venison before he can pronounce a blessing. But what have food got to do with blessings? A lot beloved. Please take note: Some blessings can only be provoked when your soul rejoice. I call it Soul- Delight Principle of Prosperity.

Young people please listen to me: You may have every reason to be annoyed with your earthly father (he is also human anyway), but I want to encourage you to honour his authority over your life and look past yesterday. You will always need more from your father for the fulfilment of your destiny. Even if your father is yet to be born again, make sure he is always happy with you. Shower him with gifts and money as the case may be even as you pray for his salvation.

Caution: This is not an opportunity to despise your mother. You don’t dishonour one who carried you in her womb for nine months. She equally has a measure of authority over your destiny. You are blessed if your mother is an intercessor over your life.

Proverbs 30:11 (BSB) says, “There is a generation of those who curse their fathers and do not bless their mothers.” Proverbs 30:17 (NET) says, “The eye that mocks at a father and despises obeying a mother – the ravens of the valley will peck it out and the young vultures will eat it.”

1. Evil authority of any occultic father, break by the power in the Blood of Jesus.

2. Evil authority of any witchcraft mother over my life, be broken by the power in the Blood of Jesus.

3. Any evil curse placed upon me by my father, be cancelled by the power in the Blood of Jesus.

4. Any evil curse placed upon me by my mother in annoyance, break by the power in the Blood of Jesus.

5. Father Lord, buy me back from any coven my parents might have sold me, in Jesus name.
