Christianity Today (CT) reports that, “Les Moir, a manager and talent scout for Integrity Music in the UK, first heard Sinach’s music in 2014 when he received one of her albums during a trip to Nigeria. Integrity licensed Sinach’s “Way Maker” to appear on two British worship compilations in 2018 and 2019. But “Way Maker” didn’t take off among American evangelicals until Christian music godfather Michael W. Smith released it as a single featuring longtime backup singer Vanessa Campagna and worship leader Madelyn Berry. Integrity Music formally partnered with Sinach in July 2019, said Mark Nicholas, the company’s vice president of song publishing.

Her songs soon appeared on releases from Integrity artists like Leeland, whose Better Word album highlighted songs from other nations. “It is obvious that this is a special song for this moment in history, and the fact that this song emerged from Africa makes it all the more compelling and to be celebrated,” Nicholas told CT. “Way Maker” has been sung by Christians protesting in the wake of George Floyd’s death, including in Milwaukee; Fredericksburg, Virginia; and Indianapolis, where they sang it during a prayer vigil.

Timely Lessons:

1. When God speaks about lifting you, He can deploy any method. He can go into your past, present or future to use seemingly small things to call forth your glory.

2. Way Maker was released in 2015 but came to real global relevance in 2019. Timing! Wait for your time. The vision is for an appointed time (Habakkuk 2:1-4).

3. God uses a man to train, lift and showcase other men. Until Mr Michael W. Smith made the single of the song, “Way Maker”, Integrity Music didn’t formally partner with Sinach. Who must introduce you for your glory to shine brightest? May heavens compel such individuals and institutions in Jesus name.

4. Imagine if Sinach had not permitted Mr Michael W. Smith record her song. Perhaps she could have aborted her own prophecy. Freely did you receive, freely you must give. Reject the spirit of offence. It is an enemy of your next level.  

Quote:  When it is not God’s time, you can’t force it. When it is God’s time, you can’t stop it.

Prophetic Decree:  Jesus the Way Maker shall make a way for you where there seems to be no way. 

Prayer Focus

1. Way Maker, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, make a way for me this third quarter of Year 2022.

2. Any opposition to my next level, clear away by fire, in Jesus name.

3. Persons, powers, and personalities that will call forth my glory, appear by fire, in the name of Jesus.

4. O Lord, conquer the will of my destiny helpers, and withdraw their sleep, so that they can help me, in Jesus name.

5. Any satanic aberration to my next level, clear away by fire, in the name of Jesus.
