Bible Reading:  2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 2:20

Memory Verse:  Therefore if anyone is in Christ [that is, grafted in, joined to Him by faith in Him as Savior], he is a new creature [reborn and renewed by the Holy Spirit]; the old things [the previous moral and spiritual condition] have passed away. Behold, new things have come [because spiritual awakening brings a new life]. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (AMP)

It was Dr Pastor Paul Enenche who said: Many years ago, I told my father in the Lord, Bishop David Oyedepo, that I want him to agree with me in prayer and pray with me and pray for me, because I noticed a certain pattern with people from my place, especially in the area of the ministry. Some pattern of being in ministry but irrelevant or giving up before time, and disappearing into irrelevance. I noticed some pattern like that and he said to me, “You’re not from that place. You may have been born from there but you’re not from that place.

All of a sudden, it dawned on me that the port of your arrival is not your State of Origin. You’re a traveller and you arrive at a particular airport does not mean you came from there. I was deployed from eternity, dispatched to land at the port in Benue State and from there, I was catapulted to my generation. So, what happens to other people in your state of origin is not what will happen to me. It is what happens from where I come from that is permitted to happen to me.

Having said this, it is important for you to know that you must fight to see your new identity come to manifestation. Why? The devil is a defeated foe who does not easily accept defeat without challenging your authority. The devil is die-hard fighter. He didn’t respect the anointing on Jesus even after 40 days and 40-night fasting. He still came to tempt him on three different occasions (Matthew 4).

He left him afterwards for a season only to overwhelm his heart again close to his death on Calvary. Jesus almost quitted. He wished the cup of saving the whole world could pass over him. No wonder he prayed until his sweat was like blood in Gethsemane. In this kingdom, we war with Scriptures (understanding of God’s perfect will for our lives) on our knees. We put what the Bible says we are into our heart, and war with it in prayers until our dominion is established.

Friend, we are seated with Christ Jesus far above principalities and powers, but we must war with Scriptures on the altar of prayer to establish our authority. We are not fighting to win. Jesus already won in Calvary. We are fighting to establish God’s plans and purpose for our lives (2 Timothy 4:7).

QuoteThe Blood of Jesus immunes us from every work of the devil in our family, village, community, nation, or territory.

Prophetic Decree:  Receive grace for a dominion mindset in Christ, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Say: I am from Zion, the city of the living God.  I am immune from the negativity of my roots, in Jesus name.

2. Altars of my father’s house contending with my destiny, after the order of Dagon that fell before the ark of God, fall down flat, in Jesus name (1 Samuel 5:1-5).

3. By the covenant in the Blood of Jesus, I will undo the negative covenants that pulls men down in my lineage, in Jesus name.

4. By the covenant in the Blood of Jesus, I break every ancestral curses working against my root, in Jesus name.

5. Holy Ghost, please change my mindset. Please help me to think like an ambassador of Christ on Earth, in Jesus name.
