Bible Reading: Isaiah 60: 1-3

Memory VerseArise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the LORD]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the LORD has risen upon youIsaiah 60:1 (AMP)

There is a season of divine recruitment. There is a season of divine making. When you miss your planting season, you will be forced to wait for another season in the cycle of life.

Consider the fathers of faith globally, you will observe that many of them fall into certain year group.

While many teenagers and youths are gallivanting about helplessly, wouldn’t you rather dare to tap into the plans God has for your life from the foundation of the earth? While others are playing with sin, toiling with fornication; drinking and partying with friends, dare to consecrate yourself.

It takes time to know God. It takes time to understand the full scope of your destiny. Infact, destiny is revealed, many times, in layers.

It took Jesus 30 years to kick off God’s purpose for his life. It took Joseph 30 years to step into God’s ultimate purpose for his life when he became the Prime Minister of Egypt. It took Moses almost 80 years before he could step into the shoes of a deliverer, just to mention but a few. Imagine if these aforementioned were unserious in the season of their preparation and making. Surely, they wouldn’t have gotten to the peak of God’s ultimate purpose for their lives.

Where are you going? What vision is motivating you? What are your do’s and don’ts? What are the laws binding and guarding your hearts? What are your value system?

With the way you are using your time, can anything great come out of it? Facebook, you are there. Snapchat, you’re there. Instagram, you are there. WhatsApp, you’re there. You always ‘like and comment’ on every post. You’ve got to be disciplined and have respect for your time. Keeping with the trends does not make your destiny trend automatically. Only those who have been baked thoroughly in the oven of the Lord come out as a delight to their generation.

Dear young man and young woman, I challenge you today to spend more time with the Lord until you find Him. Go for a retreat while others are going for holiday. Consecrate yourself from youthful sin and distractions. Seek the face of the Lord concerning His pattern, vision, and purpose for your life. Nothing could be more glorious.

Quote:  Keeping with the trend does not always make your destiny trend.

Prophetic Decree: Receive grace to access the book of your destiny, in Jesus name.
