Bible reading:  Daniel 6:25-27

Memory Verse: I make a decree that in every dominion of my kingdom men must tremble and fear before the God of Daniel. For He is the living God, And steadfast forever; His kingdom is the one which shall not be destroyed, And His dominion shall endure to the end. Daniel 6:26(NKJV)

The

Oxford dictionary defines transformation as a marked change in form, nature or appearance.

National transformation refers to fundamental change in the building block of a nation. A positive change in the spiritual, social, economic, infrastructural and political landscape of a nation.

National transformation must be rooted in the love of Christ and for the benefit of mankind and not for self glory.

God desires men in the class of Daniel. Students who are gifted, skillful, unblemish, filled with an excellent spirit and having a godly character, Such are the instruments of a radical national transformation.

Daniel was relevant in four (4) successive government giving relevant advice, consultation and prophesies; even as he interpreted strange dreams and visions.

Daniel caused King Darius to issue a decree to all people, nations and languages in his kingdom

that they must all fear and reference the God of Daniel (Dan 6:25-27).

A decree! According to the laws of the Medes and Persians in his days, a decree written by a king and sealed with his signet is irrevocable. Yes, that’s national transformation! Daniel caught a whole kingdom by storm for God. He revolutionalized the world for God in his days.

Action Word:  National transformation begins with You.

Prayer point:

  1. Lord, make me an instrument of positive change in my country.
  2. Holy Spirit, renew my mind daily in your Word, in Jesus name.
