The pathway to life is death. If you must truly fulfill your destiny dreams and visions as a professional, minister, student or entrepreneur, you must be ready to die to your own perspectives and live to God’s own directives for your life. This is the kingdom way. The standard of God stands sure having a seal (2 Tim. 2:19). Jesus wanted to redeem mankind to God, but He had to lay down His life for the same people. Death before life! Before this same Jesus could ascend into glory and could be given a name above every other name, He had to descend into hell to dispossess the devil of the keys of death and hell. Descension before ascension! You don’t climb a ladder from the top.
There is a protocol. There is a process. Friends, sometimes what we call the attack of the devil is God using circumstances to train and prepare us for the glory ahead. Again I say to you: Glory has weight. If you are not equipped with the capacity to carry the weight of God’s glory that is coming upon your life, the same glory could crumble you. Some people on the other hand take short cut because they cannot endure God’s process. Short cuts such as cheating, malpractice, bribing, money rituals, blood bath, etc, won’t eventually last long. There is nowhere worth going worth taking short cut.
This is a principle in the University of life. What happened to those friends of yours who went into internet fraud (yahoo yahoo or yahoo plus plus) and money ritual many years ago? They suddenly reached their peak and began to nosedive again. Some even met with untimely death. Some secular musicians prophesied their own death in one or two songs before they died. Nothing is free with the devil, beloved. Make up your mind today to pass through God’s process for your life unashamedly. No short cut. In this kingdom of God, we die to live. “Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” Luke 9:23 (NLT). Bring your Lordship over me, Lord!

Prayer Focus
1. Eternal Rock of Ages, we thank You.
2. I repent of my own futile and misconstrued opinions about how I want to live my life and fulfill my destiny, in Jesus name.
3. Today, O Lord, I bring my life under your Lordship, in Jesus name.
4. Self in me, die, in Jesus name.
5. Spirit of the living God, please help me to tame my flesh, in Jesus name.
