Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 12: 8-9
Memory Verse: But He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you [My lovingkindness and My mercy are more than enough—always available—regardless of the situation]; for [My] power is being perfected [and is completed and shows itself most effectively] in [your] weakness.” Therefore, I will all the more gladly boast in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ [may completely enfold me and] may dwell in me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 (AMP)
How do you feel when people you feel are financially capable to help you don’t help you? You feel awful, right? However, life is not always what you think. Friends, you may be shocked such people are in need of a greater help. This is a situation when the helper needs help. Unfortunately, they can’t open up to you in order to preserve their reputation. May God help us.
At other times, it is God at work! Really? Let me explain.
When God is jealous over you, most likely, He will be unwilling to take you through familiar route. In the words of one of our fathers in faith in from the message titled, “The Help You Do Not Need”, he said, “Don’t get angry or offended when people refuse to help you when you think you desperately need one. Some help can tamper with the process of God in your life and thus abort great vision and relevance
God has apportioned to you! What if Jesus was smuggled out of Gethsemane to a safe place to avoid the Cross, the suffering and death? What would have happened to you and I and generations to come? It takes time for a pupa to become a butterfly. In fact, some species have a pupal stage that lasts for two years. It may look like nothing is going on but big changes are happening inside. Special cells that were present in the larva are now growing rapidly. They will become the legs, wings, eyes and other parts of the adult butterfly.
You do not try to help it to become a beautiful butterfly. No. It needs that process! If you cut the pupa or chrysalis open to hasten the process, you kill the moth or butterfly forever. There are some specific stages in your life that what you need is grace and not help. Apostle Paul calls it “Sufficient grace” (1 Corinthians 12:9) That grace of God will see you through the process that will bring out the enviable glory! Soon, that test will be a testimony, and that pain will be a promotion.”

Prophetic Decree: Receive grace for the discernment of times and seasons, in Jesus name.
Prayer Focus
1. Dear Lord, block any and every help I do not need no matter the challenges I am facing presently, in Jesus name.
2. O Lord, permit no one to help me if it is not part of your plan for my good, in Jesus name.
3. I reject any help that will derail me from the purpose and the will of God in Jesus name.
4. I receive grace to discern the peculiarity of my dealings with God per time so that my heart will be still.
5. Holy Spirit, please fortify my staying power in You, in Jesus name.
