THE MYSTERY OF IMPARTATION (2)

THE MYSTERY OF IMPARTATION (2)

Bible Reading: Proverbs 30: 11-12, 1 Corinthians 12:31

Memory VerseAnd without all contradiction the less is blessed of the betterHebrews 7:7 (KJV)

Impartation does not leave us without any responsibility. Apostle Paul, speaking in 2 Timothy 1:6 (ESV) wrote, “For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands.” Apostle Paul meant that Timothy should deploy what he has imparted in him. Everything God gives usually starts as a seed. It is your responsibility to grow it to fruition and manure it to blossom. That is why you should pray, fast, deploy your talents and use your spiritual gifts to God’s glory.

Be warned: Don’t fall into deception of the last days. “There is a generation that curses its father, And does not bless its mother. There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes, Yet is not washed from its filthiness” Proverbs 30:11-12 (NKJV). There are many young folks who mouth wash the labours of their parents, teachers, elders, pastors, leaders, including the patriarch and matriarch of faith. No wonder with all their noise they haven’t measured up to them, not to talk of surpassing them. Listen: Despite some of the mistakes of the aforementioned, there is something to be received from them. The vessel may be wrong, but the virtues are never wrong. Celebrate them with your heart and honour them consistently.

Don’t disconnect from the means so that the grace of God from them to you will not stop flowing. Remain a prodigy of the Patriarchs of faith. Remain hungry for the same Spirit of God at work in their lives, business and ministry that is responsible for the dimension of results that you see. This generation of young adult and young ministers need to be warned. A generation that despise their fathers and does not honour their mothers hardly prosper. If we fail to carry the mantle needed for our generation because of seemingly negligible mistakes and errors of the patriarch and matriarch of faith, our generation shall surely suffer for it. Mantles don’t leave the earth, but vessels can disconnect from mantles.

Ministerial wisdom: A father in faith once shared a very humbling testimony in this regard. He said he saw a certain dimension of grace in the lives of one of his sons in ministry. Then he began to covet it (1 Cor. 12:31). He didn’t just stop at desiring it, he also began to sow seeds in cash into the ministry of his spiritual son. What a humble father! God, who is not a respecter of persons or titles, but His laws and principles, graciously granted him access to such grace. That’s God for you! Impartation indeed is the transference of anointing, virtues, skills, and graces from one who has been entrusted by God unto another who is discerning (able to acknowledge), and whose heart is ready to receive

Quote: I. You can’t receive from a man if you have not received the man first in your heart. II. Mantles don’t leave the earth. They are transferred from one generation to another. Position yourself rightly.

Prophetic Decree: The despicable attitude of this generation shall not catch up with you, in Jesus name.

Prayer Focus

1. Spirit of wisdom, come upon me, in Jesus name.

2. I receive grace to take full responsibility of the impartation I have received, in Jesus name.

3. I receive grace to be continually humble that I may enjoy the impartation of grace from the patriarchs and matriarch of faith, in Jesus name.

4. I receive grace to be continually humble that I may enjoy the impartation of grace from my Parents and teachers, in Jesus name.

5. I receive the mantle of accelerated promotion and dumbfounding testimonies, in Jesus name.
